Bishop High School girls tennis runs over Rosamond
Broncos to take on Kern Valley at home on Tuesday
The Bishop Union High School girls tennis team traveled to Rosamond on Thursday where the Broncos found a 9-0 victory over the Roadrunners.
The singles started off the day, winning all six to cinch the match for the
Broncos.
Senior Oliva Ellis played in the number 1 spot, winning 6-0, 6-1. Emma Thornburg won 6-0, 6-0. Brianna Stange won 6-1, 6-0 and Dom Osland won 6-2, 6-2.
Ellie Crall won 6-0, 6-1. Sydney McAdam won 6-2, 6-1.
Freshman Dani Carr won 8-0.
The doubles teams played an eight-game pro set, winning all three doubles matches .

Norcross competed against the No. 1s coming back from being behind in their match to win, 9-7. Rose Bracken and Harleen Jammu won 8-0 and Jesi Ferrell and Jodie Bedore also won 8-0.
“Everyone has improved their serve tremendously, which helped us win the match today,” said coach Patty Cummings.
The Broncos will host Kern Valley on Tuesday, Oct 4, at 1 p.m. at the City Park.
