Virtual family council meetings

Group discusses local long-term care facilities

Inyo County virtual family council meetings are held for those who have someone they care for living in a longterm care facility, such as Bishop Care Center or Southern Inyo skilled nursing home.

The meetings, which can be accessed online or by phone, are held to discuss how people can work with others to improve the quality of care and quality of life for loved ones at these facilities.

The meetings are available to anyone with a family member or friend residing in any long-term care facility in Inyo County.

Inyo County Virtual Family Council meetings are held monthly for one hour.

To obtain the family council meeting schedule, email the Inyo County Health and Human Services Long-Term Care Ombudsman office at LTCOmbudsman@ inyocounty.us. In the subject line, indicate: Virtual Family Council.
